As a long time fan of Jeremy, James, Hamster and the Stig (as many ex girlfriends will attest) I have just discovered what could well be the best news in universe ever. Top Gear have teamed up with Polyphony Digital to include the Top Gear test track in the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 game for the PlayStation 3!
Not only will we be getting the test track to thrash around on and see if we can beat the Stig … we’ll also be getting selected Top Gear episodes on a dedicated motoring channel called Gran Turismo TV on the Playstation network.
I’m far to dumbstruck to be able to write anything clever that conveys just how exceptionally brilliantly fantastically cool this news is so I will leave you to read the article on topgear.com while I go and cancel my xbox 360 order and figure out how I am going to explain to my partner we really do need a huge plasma telly after all.

Squire, i agree with you on the stella news that TopGear is going to be on GT5. the game looks awesome. I have also discovered that there is a NZ version of the UK magazine and it’s pretty damn good. Got all the TG hallmarks with some local flavor.
